Position Summary:
The NetSuite Administrator will be responsible for supporting and maintaining the corporate Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems while ensuring optimal system performance and alignment with business processes. This role involves responding to resolving issues with ERP and supporting systems as they arise, as well as working with internal stakeholders to drive process improvements, conduct training, and perform quality testing to integrate technical systems with business workflows.
Essential Functions:
- Application Management: Support applications such as NetSuite OneWorld ERP, DataNinja MES, Celigo, Magento 2 eCommerce, Salesforce and Avalara tax SuiteApp. Design, build, and maintain integration between systems.
- Process Improvement: Recommend and implement improvements to ERP processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- ERP Implementation: Assist in the implementation of ERP-related initiatives, including enhancements, third-party integrations, new deployments, and upgrades.
- Customer Service: Deliver excellent end-user support through training, documentation, and proactive communication.
- User Support: Provide timely and accurate resolutions to local and remote users' ERP-related issues.
- User Configuration: Support ERP system users with setup, performance evaluations, data error resolution, and system upgrades.
- Vendor Collaboration: Collaborate with vendors and management to determine system configurations, setups, and requirements.
- Growth Planning: Anticipate future system growth needs, including user licenses, functionality, and application scalability, drafting proposals and obtaining quotes.
- Additional Responsibilities: Participate in software list creation, enforce IT standards, and undertake other projects as assigned.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on ERP and eCommerce platforms.
- Strong experience with NetSuite development tools, including SuiteScript, SuiteTalk, and SuiteFlow.
Core Competencies:
- Technical Expertise: Extensive experience with NetSuite ERP and a working knowledge of supporting systems such as MES (DataNinja), Middleware (Celigo), CRM (Salesforce) and Marketplace (Magento).
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to diagnose and resolve system performance issues and user concerns effectively.
- Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and written communication for engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
- Project Management: Proven ability to coordinate multiple projects, from upgrades to new system deployments, while ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Customer Service Orientation: Strong commitment to delivering high-quality support and training to users.
- Process Improvement: Experience in analyzing and optimizing business processes through ERP functionality.
- Team Leadership: Demonstrated ability to manage contractor teams and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
